Pullen Park Birthday Party

The twins turned eight. EIGHT!!!
My parents and grandmother met us at Pullen Park to celebrate with presents, a picnic, rides, and climbing. It was beautiful out and so much fun to be together.

Father Daughter Dance

The father-daughter dance is such a sweet chance for these three to hang out together. They get dressed up and out out to dinner (Red Robin burgers with milkshakes as their drink before dinner even came out) and then to the dance at our school's cafeteria.

You'll shoot your eye out, kid

Christmas afternoon, the kids got to play with their new Red Ryder Bb Guns from M and Doc. Doc had the firing range set up, complete with targets and protective eye gear. These are the guns from the  movie, Christmas Story, but these have the kids names on them (what is more southern than a monogrammed gun, I ask you!).

These aren't JUST for kids, you know...
The kids loved it when the soda can exploded when fired on.
What a fun Christmas!

Christmas 2015

the calm before the storm...it took hours to wrap...only about 30 minutes to do in
hard to get good lighting at 5 in the morning, y'all. just saying.
Santa brought the kids new iPod cases, which were needed because he also brought iPods. Not the best idea, Santa. Last year make-up in the stocking and this year electronics that needed to be monitored and lorded over...Santa, let's talk.
Mommy and Daddy were smarter and got books!
Caroline wanted the entire set of Harry Potter and was excited to see these!
Emma Kate wanted a real live unicorn. This was as close as we could get.

Matt Sam got a Storm Trooper mask.

Lots of Star Wars gifts, actually...
He finally got to try it out.

We've started a tradition of presents, cinnamon rolls and bacon, and then the afternoon at the Dellasegas. I love Christmas traditions and am already excited about the next holiday!

Halloween 2015

Wayyyyy back in October, we had the treat of celebrating Halloween with Cousin Nick in town. Halloween fell on the weekend and he flew in from Atlanta (and boy, were his arms tired...) to get a dose of crazy.
The girls amazed me by both being princesses from Frozen and Sam was an NCSU football player.
We had our annual mummy dogs and cheese fondue along with hot apple cider and spiced rum for those who walked around collecting candy (and handing it out at the door, thank you very much).
M and Doc came to party with us and it was the best Halloween yet!
Nick...How is your 2016 looking?

 Our sweet Reynolds' last Halloween
