Smart Cookies

Caroline and Brayden got together today and made cookies. I love seeing them together...he just gets her. He gets her love for Bunny and knows how she likes to play. She adores him and claps for and cheers him on while he colors and does puzzles. They made chocolate chip cookies today and had a grand time on their play date...thanks for coming over Brayden!

Sweet Caroline

Isn't she something? Can't wait to get her back from Doc and M...we have really missed her! The house is so quiet without her (and not in a good way!). I should add how cute it was that when she was wrapping up Bunny she was telling her to pretend that she was afraid of the rain storm like Lucy (our dog who is VERY afraid of storms. It wasn't storming out...). She was also calling Bunny , "precious"...isn't that precious?

puzzles and pony tails

Caroline LOVES puzzles. I mean, loves them. She has for awhile now, but lately, it is all she does all day long....for hours. She easily does a 24 piece and a 35 piece and I think tomorrow we are going to buy and try a 50 piece so that she is challenged.

She is also very into hair styles and her favorite are pony tails. She challenges me daily by handing me several hairbands and asking for me to use them all. Her fine, thin hair is finally growing, and she looks so grown up with it pulled back. What a fun little gal she can be!

The Pool

The five of us walked down to the pool this afternoon and it was great. We were there for a couple of hours and everyone had a wonderful time. Caroline is really great in the water and even asks us to dunk her under. She is blowing bubbles in the water and sticks her whole body beneath the surface. The babies are also liking it more and more and floated in their floats for an hour or so before they declared it snack time. We feel so lucky to have this all within a few feet of our house!

a day with Nonna

My Mom came to stay the night with us, and we had a grand time! The kids really performed for her and we all had a lot of fun (but were sad to see her go)! Emma Kate with her new kitty...she purrs along with it
loving on her kitty
breakfast sillyness
mid-giggle
oh, he is so precious to me!
difference between boys and girls (or is it just MY son that is THIS messy at EVERY meal?).
Mom and I were sitting on the couch and saw the girls dancing to"Yo Gabba Gabba" but couldn't see Sam...he had emptied this box out and was sitting in it, glued to the TV. As Matt says, "He has the makings of a real couch potato". and then the girls had to give it a try...

I LOVE this on...pure joy on her sweet little face, isn't it?

Tea Party and the Virgin Mary

Although all five of us have summer colds, I managed to get a few pictures from the last couple of days. Today the girls woke up from their nap and had a tea party together...these are the little moments that are happening more and more the older they get and are oh so fun!

The other pictures are post bath of a very angelic looking Caroline.

the blue towel makes her look like the Virgin Mary to me. When I told Caroline this she said, "I'm not that. I am a children and a children can't be Jesus' Mommy".
